Salt Lake Express Connects Salt Lake City And Reno Via I-80

I-80 To Reno

We have announced that we will be operating a new route that connects Salt Lake City, UT and Reno, NV via I-80. The route officially began service on Dec. 1, 2022. This new route comes after months of working with the The Nevada Department of Transportation in determining the needs of communities along this corridor. Riders will now be able to easily access the “Biggest Little City in the World” in a much more efficient manner from locations such as Salt Lake, Boise, Rexburg, Idaho Falls and Twin Falls. Destinations and other stops along the Nevada route include Wells, Elko, Carlin, Battle Mountain, Winnemucca, Lovelock, and Fernley.

“Our riders have been asking for this connection for some time now,” said Jacob Price, owner of Salt Lake Express. “We’re happy that we’re finally able to offer it to them. We know that it’s going to help so many travelers in this part of the country.”

Ever-Expanding Route Network

Not only does this new route provide a much needed connection for many riders, but it also adds a few new destinations to Salt Lake Express’s expanding route map. Locations like Winnemucca, Battle Mountain, and Fernley. All of which have something unique to offer to adventurous travelers. This also opens up an entire corridor of travel for college students attending the University of Nevada, the University of Utah, and Brigham Young University.

“This route satisfies the needs of many travelers,” said Price. “But more than that, it opens up travel to the regional Tahoe area, which is a big reason a lot of people visit Reno in both the summer and winter.”

In addition to this new route, we have recently added a direct route from Boise to Salt Lake as well as routes throughout eastern and southern Utah. Hitting destinations like Moab, Vernal, and even Blanding. If you’re interested in booking a trip visit saltlakeexpress.com or call 800-356-9796.
