The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has begun improvements from the US-89 and SR-20 intersection to Circleville Canyon - approximately ten miles - as of May 18, 2026. These improvements will be finished in August 2026. There will be one lane in each direction from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. In observance of the Labor Day holiday, our crews will pause all work on Friday, September 4. Construction will resume Tuesday, September 8. Starting 10 pm Sept 12 through 8 a.m. Sept 13, WB I-84 will be closed and & EB I-84 will remain open but reduced to a single lane. 4400 South will be closed between the roundabouts. No trucks with trailers, semi-trucks or other vehicles over 40 feet in length will be allowed on 4400 South between Cozy Dale Drive and Parker Drive during construction.
