3. Snowshoeing at Donut Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon
Donut Falls is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, which is about 12 miles outside of Salt Lake City. This is a nice mild hike, and it’s great for both kids and adults. The hike is an estimated 3.5 miles long, taking about an hour. It’s a great sight to see anytime of year, but it’s best during the Winter. The iced over streams and snow covered trees make the experience even better. You’ll feel like you’re snowshoeing through a Winter wonderland!
