Enjoy the Fall Colors Aboard the Salt Lake Express

With the first day of fall coming up this Sunday, we’re ready to bask in nature’s greatest annual color display! There are countless great places to see the fall foliage changing colors in the Intermountain West, but here are a few of our favorites in our namesake’s state of Utah.

Big Cottonwood Canyon

Along with its twin, Little Cottonwood Canyon, the trees that give this place its name are absolutely gorgeous in the fall, providing a nice breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of nearby Salt Lake City.

Fishlake National Forest

If a place has the words “National Forest” in its name, you can be sure the fall foliage will be something to go out of your way for! Fishlake may be a little off the beaten path for most of our Utah riders, but a stop in Fillmore or Beaver will get you there quick.

Logan Canyon

Drive east of the Wasatch Front to reach Logan, and keep driving a little further east for a ride up the lovely and rugged Logan Canyon! With hikes and historical sites aplenty, you’ll have plenty to see alongside all the lovely leaves.
